Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 cupmushrooms
  2. 2 tbspchopped onion
  3. 2 tbspbutter
  4. 2 tbspflour
  5. 2 cupchicken or beef broth
  6. 1/2 cuplight cream
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 1/4 tsppepper
  9. 1/4 tspground nutmeg

Steps

  1. 1

    Slice mushrooms through cap and stem. Cook with onions in butter five minutes.

  2. 2

    Blend in flour

  3. 3

    Add broth. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Cool slightly. Add cream and seasonings.

  5. 5

    Heat through. Serve at once.
