This is my first time ever making "Sweet and Sour" chicken, so I decided on making it according to Israeli chef Israel Aharoni's recipe... he's heavily influenced by the Asian cuisine and now I understand why - this is heaven!!!! I will definitely try some more. Hope you like it
Non-Radioactive Sweet&Sour Chicken

Cut the chicken into cubes

In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients, mix in the chicken cubes, and let rest for 30 minutes

Chop the onion and celery

Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl with 4 tbsp. water

Fry the chicken cubes with 1 1/2 tbsp. of oil for 2 minutes, until well-cooked. Set aside in a bowl

With the rest of the oil, fry the garlic and ginger, add the onion and celery and stir for a minute

Pour the sauce over the pan contents and bring to a boil

Pour the chicken back into the pan, add the watery cornstarch and bring to a boil
