  • 1 cupflour
  • 1 tsp.baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp.baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp.ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp.salt
  • 1large egg
  • 1/3 cupsugar
  • 1/4 cupmilk
  • 1/4 cupplain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp.unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp.vanilla extract

    Preheat the oven to 350F. Spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

  2. 2

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg. Set aside.

  3. 3

    In a separate medium bowl, whisk together egg, sugar, milk and yogurt until smooth. Whisk in the melted butter and vanilla until fully combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.

    Spoon the batter into the donut pan.

  5. 5

    Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned. Let them sit in the donut pan for 2 minutes, then transfer them to a tray and plate with jelly or icing sugar
