Steps
- 1
Dice 3/4 of the onion and throw in a large mixing bowl. Slice the remainder of the onion and start to saute the sliced onion.
- 2
Mix together diced onion, ground meats, bread crumbs and one egg along with your A1 and your Worcestershire sauce.
- 3
Form into 4 patties and season to your liking. (I just use Adobo and black pepper) and cook to preference. You may also want to start toasting your English muffins if desired.
- 4
In another pan, fry each egg as you would regularly. (i usually par cook my yolk for this)
- 5
Start assembly! I usually do mayo on both sides of my English muffin, then stack the burger, then the sauteed onions, cheese, one egg, then more cheese, then top it off there.
- 6
***Feel free to have fun and change things up, from the meats, to any cheese, or even your bread! I've experimented with waffles instead which turned out pretty good.
- 7
I find a nice variation to be ground breakfast sausage(but i cut down the amount because i find sausage a stronger flavored meat), substitute maple syrup for the A1 and Worcestershire and use well toasted waffles.
