Ingredients

  • 500 1/4 gramsrohu fish, onion paste, ginger paste, garam masala ( whole), garam masala ( grounded), ghee, bay leaves, sugar, yoghut ( curd), red chilli powder, whole green chilli, salt to taste

  1. 1

    Take the fish and marinade it with salt, red chilli powder. Keep it aside.

  2. 2

    In a wok add ghee and temper whole garam masala, and bay leaves

  3. 3

    Add the marinated fish. Fry it till it gets light golden.

  4. 4

    Add the onion paste, ginger paste, yoghut ( curd) to the fish. Keep the flame low and simmer for 5 mins.

  5. 5

    When the liquid reduces add garam masala powder, ghee, salt to taste and sugar 1 table spoon. Stir slightly, so that the fish pieces don't break.

  6. 6

    Give 5 mins standing time and serve hot with boiled rice.
