This south indian recipe of grated plantain tastes yummy with rasam ,sambar rice. It's very simple to cook too
Steps

Pressure cook the raw plantain with skin for 3 whistles

Cool and peel the skin

Grate them and keep aside

In a kadai heat oil and add mustardseeds,urad dal, asafoetida, finely chopped onion,salt and Green chillies

Once the onion turns pink,add the grated plantain and stir gently
- 6
Cook in slow flame so that the plantain gets slightly roasted.

Finally garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.

Serve as an accompaniment with rasam rice or sambar rice
