  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1 lbItalian sausage
  • 1medium
  • 1each Pepper(green, or any)
  • 1 tbspGarlic
  • 29 ozStewed Tomatos
  • 2 canDark red kidney beans
  • 1 canCannelini beans
  • 1 canChili beans
  • 46 ozTomato juice
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 2 tspBlack pepper
  • 1 tbspChili powder
  • 2 tspCumin
  • 2Bay leaves
  • 1 tspPaprika
  • 1 1/2 tbspDried basil
  • 1 1/2 tbspParsely

Steps

40 mins
  1. 1

    In 8 Qt.pot brown beef and sausage & all dried seasoning.

  2. 2

    While browning chop onion, pepper,& garlic and add to pot.

  3. 3

    Simmer until meat is browned and vegetables are soft.

  4. 4

    If desired roughly chop stewed tomatoes, and then add to pot.

  5. 5

    Add tomato juice.

  6. 6

    Simmer on Medium heat for 30 min. turn it down if it boils. Cook to desired temp.

  7. 7

    Serve with corn bread.
