Steps
- 1
You may need more pomegranates/oranges. What you require is equal quantities of juice from each fruit. For me this recipe produced approx 400ml of each
- 2
Cut Pomegranates in half
- 3
Place a large mixing bowl into an empty sink
- 4
NOTE: this splashes and pomegranate juice stains, so make sure you have cleared away anything that you cannot wipe down, and wear an apron!
- 5
Hold pomegranate over the bowl, seeds facing bowl and hit the skin with the back of a heavy spoon. This causes the seeds to fall into bowl. Repeat with all 3 Pomegranates.
- 6
Once pomegranates are deseeded, remove any stray lumps/bits of pith.
- 7
Place into blender for 10 seconds
- 8
Strain juice into bowl.
- 9
Measure quantity, then Pour juice into serving jug.
- 10
Squeeze oranges
- 11
Pour juice into serving jug.
- 12
Add sparkling water to taste, then serve
