  1. 1 mediumspaghetti squash
  2. 1 lbBeef or sausage
  3. 15 ozcan organic diced tomatoes
  4. 15 ozcan organic tomato sauce
  5. 1 tspextra-virgin olive oil
  6. 1onion, chopped
  7. 2 clovegarlic, crushed
  8. 1 tbspItalian seasoning
  9. 2 tbspfresh basil, chopped
  10. 1red pepper flakes
  11. 1Sea salt & pepper

    Roast Spaghetti Squash

  2. 2

    In a deep sauce pan heat oil and sauté garlic over medium heat

  3. 3

    Add in onion and let cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes until translucent

  4. 4

    Add meat and let cook until brown

  5. 5

    Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and seasoning and mix well

  6. 6

    Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 15 minutes

  7. 7

    Place spaghetti squash halves on a plate; scrape out just a bit of the inside so it fills up the center slightly and top with heaping spoonfuls of meat sauce

  8. 8

    Top with fresh basil and fresh parmesan (optional) and serve hot
