An Easy Side Dish Salad with Crispy Bacon and Daikon Radish An Easy Side Dish Salad with Crispy Bacon and Daikon Radish
Because I had 2 daikon radishes...The fat from the bacon will solidify if you chill too much in the refrigerator, so I recommend to keep it at room temperature.I divided the process into many steps so it would be easy to understand. When you are stir-frying the bacon at Step 6 with a lid and it's not browning evenly, use the lid as a shield and stir the bacon around occasionally. No need to be too diligent though.Use as much ponzu sauce and lemon juice as you like! For 2 to 4 servings. Recipe by santababy cookpad.japan -
Side Dish Salad for Indian Food Side Dish Salad for Indian Food
At Indian dinner tables or restaurants, a raw vegetable salad comes out as a side dish. It's generally in a rounded, flat shape, or everything is minced. I felt this was different than how most salads are in Japan and it felt very Indian, so I created this recipe.I found thick cucumbers at my supermarket and use them, but you can also use the thin ones. When eating with curry, enjoy this raw vegetable salad together with raita (for the raitea, a little salt and pepper in the yogurt is fine).
