Granny´s salad

When I was a child, my granny used to prepare this salad for the whole family.Now, when she cannot cook due to the cruel disease, I don´ t want her recipe remain forgotten. So I decided to continue the tradition of preparing this "addictive" salad for the family visits.

Steps

Cut mortadella,pickles,eggs and red pepper into small pieces

fry the onion on the rapeseed oil for about 5 minutes or until the onion turns a medium-brown colour

Add mustard,ketchup,soy and worchester sauce,stir and cook for 2 minutes

In salad bowl combine mortadella, eggs, red pepper and pickles. Add canned sweetcorn, tartar sauce, pinch of salt and pepper.

Add the cold sauce and stir until blended

Serve with toast or baguette.
