Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 4 tbspvegatable ghee oil
  2. 1 lbcubed chicken breast
  3. 1 mediumonion
  4. 1 1/2 tbspgaram masala
  5. 1/2 tbspchilli powder
  6. 1 canchopped tomatoes
  7. 3 tbspPataks curry paste of choice
  8. 1/2 cupwater
  9. 2 tbspsugar
  10. 1sachet Pataks creamed coconut

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt the Ghee oil in a large saucepan.

  2. 2

    Add the chicken cubes and brown.

  3. 3

    Add the onions and cook until soft and golden.

  4. 4

    Add the garam masala, chilli powder and stir. Add the tomatoes and heat until bubbling.

  5. 5

    Stir in the curry paste and add 1/2 cup of water. Bring the heat back up to simmering and add sugar.

  6. 6

    Simmer for 30 mins stirring every now and again.

  7. 7

    Add the creamed coconut and simmer for 10 minutes stirring often.

  8. 8

    Serve with rice or nan breads.
