Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put a 12 iron skillet on the middle rack of your oven and preheat to 450°F Fahrenheit.
- 2
As the oven is preheating, whip 3 eggs until pale and frothy. Then beat milk, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt and continue to beat until smooth (about 1 minute more). The batter should be thin.
- 3
Take your preheated skillet out of the oven and add 4 tablespoons of butter, swirling the pan to melt the butter and coat the pan. Once the bottom of the pan is covered in butter, pour the Dutch Baby pancake batter into it and immediately return the skillet to the oven.
- 4
Bake until puffed and golden brown, for 18 to 25 minutes.
- 5
Once the Dutch baby is done baking in the oven, remove and allow the pancake to collapse, then add your favorite toppings, and serve.

Mini Dutch Baby Pancakes Mini Dutch Baby Pancakes
I've been wanting to attempt to make a Dutch baby (also known as a German pancake) for awhile now...but they are traditionally made in a cast iron skillet and I don't have one. But I came across this recipe on Pinterest and had to try it out! Traditionally they are served dusted with confectioners sugar, but you can also serve with maple syrup, Nutella, fresh fruit or a fruit compote. You can also make up the batter the night before, then place in a bowl, cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight, to make it even easier on yourself in the morning. German/Dutch Baby Pancake German/Dutch Baby Pancake
I always try to fix breakfast that doesn't take much time. When my 18 months old is starving, he doesn't look so cute anymore 😄. I love making this pancake because it's quick, easy and delicious. I have tried with many kind of fruit, such as apple, banana, pear and peach, either one is good. I usually serve the pancake with maple syrup, but you can always serve with whipped cream or dusting with powdered sugar. Pawon Indo Bule -

These are quick easy and everyone loves them. It's kinda like a pancake, crepe, French toast all in one. Just scale up the recipe to fit the demand. For every 1/3 cup of ingredients add 1 egg. You have tons of options to make these savory or sweet. Options could include filling with scramble eggs and bacon. Fresh fruit .Derek

This is not like regular pancakes. It is a souffle like pancake done in the oven. It is so easy to make. I use different toppings for this. My favorite is homemade apple butter. Deneen Flowers -
