Chef Meghna’s Signatures Whiskey Caramel Sauce

Here’s the Whiskey Caramel Sauce that I created for Signature Premiere Whiskey promotion.
Serving :
This is a multi-purpose sauce.
You may use it on ice-cream, apple crumble, normal egg toast, pan cake,
waffles, any plain cake and on salted pop-corn as well.

Steps
- 1
Combined Sugar & Water in a small sauce pan
- Cook over medium heat, till Sugar gets dissolved & changes to Golden Brown
(It will take about 17 minutes to golden brown colour)
- Caution : DO NOT Stir.
- Remove the sauce pan from the heat.
- Carefully add butter, by whisking continuously until butter gets dissolved.
- Caution: Mixture will be hot and can bubble up while adding butter.
- Stir Whisky, Cooking Cream & a pinch of salt into the mixture.
- Whisk it nicely
- Add chopped Pecan Nuts.
