Ingredients

  • For marination -
  • 10Boneless chicken strips
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1Egg
  • 1 tbspSoya sauce
  • 1 tsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp-Black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed
  • For gravy -
  • 1/2 cup Cubed onion
  • 2 tbsp Cubed red bell peppers
  • 1 tbspCubed capsicum
  • 1 tsp Chopped chilli peppers
  • 1 tbsp Zucchini
  • 1 tspCrushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 2 tbspHoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp Cornflour
  • 1 tspBrown sugar
  • 2 tsp Vinegar
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tbspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate the chicken strips with all the ingredients for about 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the chicken strips until they are golden brown.

  3. 3

    Mix soy sauce, hoisine sauce, vinegar, cornflour, brown sugar, salt and a little amount of water in a bowl.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in another kadai.
    Add onion, garlic, chilli peppers, capsicum, red bell peppers, zucchini, stir for 30 seconds.

  5. 5

    Add Sauce mixture and saute on high flame.

  6. 6

    Add fried chicken strips.

  7. 7

    Serve hot.
