Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupSoftened butter
  2. 8 ozSoftened cream cheese
  3. 3 cupSugar
  4. 6Eggs
  5. 3 cupAll purpose flour (sifted)
  6. 1 pinchSalt
  7. 1 tbspVanilla extract

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 300°F Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy

  3. 3

    Gradually add sugar, beating well

  4. 4

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well

  5. 5

    Gradually add flour, beating well

  6. 6

    Add salt and vanilla extract, make sure everything is well combined

  7. 7

    Pour batter into a greased pan and smooth out the top

  8. 8

    Bake for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

  9. 9

    Cool in pan for about 10-15 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack
