I am tired of mayonnaise and salad mixed. Inspired by the Cacio e Pepe / cheese and pepper recipe a superb delicious recipe I have fallen in love with. I made this as an experiment. It is so very delicious.

Ingredients

  1. Tuna and Spices------------------
  2. 10 ouncescanned tuna
  3. 4 tablespoonsbutter
  4. 1 tablespoonground black pepper
  5. 1/4 cupTuna Pasta Spices see my recipe
  6. Pasta----------------------
  7. 1 poundbowtie/Farfalle pasta
  8. As neededwater to boil pasta
  9. 1 teaspoonsalt
  10. 1 tablespoonextra Virgin olive oil
  11. Cheese-----------------
  12. 1 cupshredded mozzarella cheese
  13. 1 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  14. Topping----------------
  15. To tastefresh ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Boil the pasta till done and drain. Save 2 cups of the pasta water. I usually of late spoon the pasta from one pot to the other one.

    Heat the butter and add the Tuna Pasta Spices and 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper. Mix well.

    When all the butter is melted and the spices are incorporated, add the pasta water a bit at the time. Stir well. Till thickened and creamy.

    Mix in the cheese. Stir constantly.

    When the cheese is blended in a bit add the pasta and tuna. Mix in well.

    Serve I hope you enjoy!!
