Ingredients

  1. 1 cupshredded cabbage
  2. 1 spoonchana dal
  3. 1 spoonmustard seed
  4. 2dry red chillies
  5. 2green chilies
  6. 1/2 cupgrated fresh coconut
  7. as needed Chopped coriander leaves
  8. 1 sprigCurry leaves
  9. To tasteSalt
  10. as neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Add mustard seed
    Heat oil in a pan.

  2. 2

    Heat it properly
    Add mustard seeds and dry red chillies. let is splutter

  3. 3

    Add curry leaves slice of green chilies and chana dal.

  4. 4

    Cook for a minute
    Add salt to taste
    Add shredded cabbage and mix well.

  5. 5

    Switch off heat,add finely chopped coriander leaves & grated coconut..mix well.

  6. 6

    Cabbage foogath serve with chapati And malabari paratha.
