Jalapeno Cheese Balls

These creamy, spicy, cheese balls are inspired by Texas Roadhouse gator bites, which are delicious! This is my attempt of mimicking them with my seasonings. They came out perfect, creamy, spicy melted cheese in a light crispy coating.

These creamy, spicy, cheese balls are inspired by Texas Roadhouse gator bites, which are delicious! This is my attempt of mimicking them with my seasonings. They came out perfect, creamy, spicy melted cheese in a light crispy coating.
Steps

Combine cheese and jalapeños in a bowl.

Form into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on or foiled pan/plate and place in freezer. Freeze 30 minutes at least.

Meanwhile whisk milk and egg together in a bowl.

Combine breadcrumbs with seasoning another bowl.

Dip frozen cheese balls into milk/egg mixture.

Then roll in breadcrumbs, either fry immediately or return to freezer until ready to fry.

When ready to fry. Heat oil in a deep pot at 350-365°F. Fry frozen cheese balls in batches, do not crowd them, Fry until golden brown, about 30-45 seconds. Drain on paper towels or a rack.

Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
