Saucy meat balls

Steps

Blend the slices of bread to make bread crumbs

In a bowl, mix the minced meat, egg, blended slices of bread, half of the garlic cloves and ginger, thyme, salt, black and cayenne pepper. Knead them until they are completely mixed

Roll the mixture into sizeable balls. Shallow fry till all sides are cooked and the red meat colour disappears

Fry onions. Add ginger, garlic and half of the bell peppers.

Add chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Let them cook for 5mins. If they stick add little warm water.

Add the rest of the spices.

Add the pre-cooked meat balls together with the rest of the chopped bell peppers. Simmer for 15mins

Remove from heat and add the chopped dhania.

Serve with your favourite starch.
