Ingredients

8 servings

2 kgChicken thigh fillet, into large pieces (4cm)
5 sliceBacon
8eschalots, peeled, halved
4Very small onions, sliced
400 gramsMushrooms, chunks
2 clovegarlic, crushed
10 smallpotatoes, halved
1 1/2 cupRed wine
1Litre chicken stock
1 1/2 tspDried thyme
1Salt & pepper to taste

Steps

Fry chicken pieces in a large pan until well browned on all sides. Set aside.

Use the same pan to fry sliced onion and bacon. Drain on paper towel and set aside.

Now throw everything into a large slow cooker, lid on. 7 hours on low or around 3 1/2 hours on high.
