Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 2 kgChicken thigh fillet, into large pieces (4cm)
  2. 5 sliceBacon
  3. 8eschalots, peeled, halved
  4. 4Very small onions, sliced
  5. 400 gramsMushrooms, chunks
  6. 2 clovegarlic, crushed
  7. 10 smallpotatoes, halved
  8. 1 1/2 cupRed wine
  9. 1Litre chicken stock
  10. 1 1/2 tspDried thyme
  11. 1Salt & pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Fry chicken pieces in a large pan until well browned on all sides. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Use the same pan to fry sliced onion and bacon. Drain on paper towel and set aside.

  3. 3

    Now throw everything into a large slow cooker, lid on. 7 hours on low or around 3 1/2 hours on high.

    Very tasty- enjoy
