Ingredients

8 servings
  • 2 kgChicken thigh fillet, into large pieces (4cm)
  • 5 sliceBacon
  • 8eschalots, peeled, halved
  • 4Very small onions, sliced
  • 400 gramsMushrooms, chunks
  • 2 clovegarlic, crushed
  • 10 smallpotatoes, halved
  • 1 1/2 cupRed wine
  • 1Litre chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 tspDried thyme
  • 1Salt & pepper to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Fry chicken pieces in a large pan until well browned on all sides. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Use the same pan to fry sliced onion and bacon. Drain on paper towel and set aside.

  3. 3

    Now throw everything into a large slow cooker, lid on. 7 hours on low or around 3 1/2 hours on high.

    Very tasty- enjoy
