In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients of the marinade. Put the chicken pieces in it and mix in it. Let it rest for at least 4 hours.

For the sauce- heat a pan add the oil now add bay leaf, cinnamon and jeera let it sputter then add onion, Ginger and garlic salt it 3-4 min untill the onion looks translucent.

Now add the tomato puree and salt mix it and cook it for 2-3 minutes.

Take a bowl mix in the coriander, jeera, turmeric chilli powder and curd mix everything in 1/4 cup of water.

Now add this curd mixture into tomato puree mixture stir it and cook it for 2-3 min.

Now add 3/4 cup of water stir it, add chicken pieces and cover the pan now let it cook for 6-8 min. The chicken should be tender by them if chicken is not tender cook it for another 3-4 min.

Add the spinach, green chilli and cook for another 2-3 min.

Now add sugar, garam masala, cream and kasoori methi and give it a final stir.

Now palak chicken is ready.
