Ingredients

  • 4 cupsChicken Stock
  • 28 ozcan Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2/3 cupsHeavy Cream
  • 5 ozChopped Fresh Baby Spinach
  • 8-9 ozSausage & Cheese Ravioli
  • 6-7 ozCheese Tortellini
  • 1/3 cupsFresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tspDried Basil
  • 1 tspDried Oregano
  • 1/4 tspCayenne Pepper
  • to TasteSalt
  • to TastePepper

Steps

    Combine all spices and set aside.

  2. 2

    In large soup pot combine chicken stock and crushed tomatoes and bring to a boil.

  3. 3

    Add spices to pot and stir well to combine.

  4. 4

    Add ravioli and tortellini to pot and cook according to package directions. If they have different cooking times add accordingly so that they are done at the same time.

  5. 5

    Add heavy cream to pot and mix well.

  6. 6

    Add chopped spinach to pot and stir frequently until it becomes just wilted. Should take approximately 3-4 minutes.

  7. 7

    Add parmesan cheese to pot and stir well to combine.

  8. 8

    Remove from heat and let sit a few minutes to rest before serving. You can add a little fresh grated parmesan to your bowl when you serve it but I prefer not to.
