Madeleines for Sebou or Aqiqah (if you have a birth during Ramadan, this is an easy and impressive treat)

Beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture doubles in volume. This step is important for a light texture.

Add the milk, oil, lemon zest, flour, and baking powder. Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes.

Let the madeleines cool completely, then decorate as shown in the picture.

Roll out the fondant icing thinly and cut out circles. Place them on top of the madeleines, sticking them on with a little water. For the hat, use a half circle and add eyes. Make a small circle and draw on it with the food writing pen.
