Ingredients

20 minutes
2 servings
  • 4Eggs
  • 2/3 cupSugar
  • 1 cupMilk
  • 3 tablespoonClarified butter
  • 5-6 podsCardamom
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon ( medium)
  • 2 tablespoonRaisin
  • 8-10Cashew nut
  • 1 pinchFood colour
  • 2 dropsRose water

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Break the eggs into a bowl.

  2. 2

    Add sugar into it and mix it very well with a stirrer.

  3. 3

    Then add milk slowly and continue the stirring.

  4. 4

    In a frying pan heat the clarified butter.

  5. 5

    Add the cardamom, cinnamon stick and let the flavor comes out.

  6. 6

    Add the whole mixture into it and stir it continuously.

  7. 7

    After few minutes the mixture will get dense.

    Add raisin and cashew nuts and food colour.

  9. 9

    After another few minutes the mixture will get granules like texture.

  10. 10

    Now add rose water and mix it well.

  11. 11

    Serve the halua into a bowl and keep it in refrigerator for cooling.

  12. 12

    Once it done, it is ready to eat.
