So I know risottos can seem really complicated and scary.. But they really aren't :) you do have to have a little bit of time to make it but it serves as a beautiful side dish that is sure to impress. 💁
Steps
- 1
Gather all ingredients.
- 2
Chop Onion .. As you can see I cheated haha and yet my eyes still were dying! They are so sensitive 😥
- 3
Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat and add your chopped onion and salt and pepper.
- 4
Add your arborio rice to the pan.
- 5
Then add your white wine until the rice is absorbed. This is literally the best kitchen smell ever.
- 6
Now add half of your chicken broth to the mixture.
- 7
Do not panic! I promise the rice will absorb all of this. 🙋
- 8
Once it is almost all absorbed add your other half of chicken broth.
- 9
Finally when everything is absorbed add your parm cheese! Once it's melted your are all set!
