Ingredients

  1. 2 cupBasmati rice
  2. 500 gmChicken
  3. 2onion for frying in oil
  4. 1onion
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 3 tbspoil
  7. 1 tbspghee
  8. 1 tbspPudina
  9. 1 tbspcorrienderleaves
  10. 3greenchilli
  11. 2-3bay leaf
  12. 4-5cloveS
  13. 2 Small sticks cinnamon
  14. 4-5cardamom
  15. 1/2 cupcurd
  16. 1tomato
  17. 2 tSpchilli powder
  18. 2 tSpcorriender powder
  19. 1/4 tSpturmeric powder
  20. 1/2 tSpgaram masala
  21. 1/2 tSpsugar
  22. 5-6 stringSaffron

Steps

  1. 1

    Boiled the water, add rice, 2bay leaf, 2cardamom, 1tbsp salt, let it cook for 3/4cooked. Drain and keep this aside.

    Heat a pressure cooker, add oil, add cinnamon, cloves cardamom and bay leaf fry for 2mints. Than add slice onion and stir, then add ginger garlic paste, fry till raw smell is going, add salt, then add tomato, stir for a mints, now add all dry masala. Stir on a low flame now add curd mix it well then add marinated chicken,cook well.

    Chicken is ready.

    Rice is ready.

    Now arrange the biryani. Add chicken, Add half boiled rice, add saffron soak in milk, Than add fried onion, mint leaves and 1tbsp ghee. Cover it.

    Let b simmer for 5-10mints if wants add dry fruits and more ghee in this stage.

    Yummy chicken biriyani is ready serve with raita. Happy cooking.
