Ingredients

half an hour
2 people
  • 1cup Black eye bean
  • 1/2cuprolled Oats
  • 1Onion ( chopped)
  • 1tbspRed bell pepper chopped
  • 1tbspYellow bell pepper chopped
  • 2 tbspFresh mint leaves finely chopped
  • 1tbspFresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 3-4Garlic cloves finely chopped
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2tspgaram masala powder
  • 1tspCumin powder
  • 1-2Green chilli chopped
  • as neededOil for shallow frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak the beans overnight.

  2. 2

    In the morning drain and cook until bean are soft and mashed.

  3. 3

    Pressure cook until 1 whistle than switch off

  4. 4

    Drain beans and let it cool down for sometime,mashed with potato masher.

    Now grind the oats now mix all above ing. onion,beans oats,bellpeppers. lemon juice, all masala's mint, dhanya mix nicely

    Make a patty help of your palm 1/2"cm thick

    Shallow fry the bean kababs both sides until golden.Yummy,tasty, kabab us ready to serve

    Serve hot with mint curd dip

Alhamdulillah brilliant .healthy and dlish .Good combination esp fir 5exture and fir fibre,protein healthy dlish black beans and oats and bell peppers and onions..I had celery in place if coriander.and soaking beans grind altogether ..did not cook them b4 but will try next time
