Firstly, take 1 cup seedless dates in a blender and blend to coarse paste without adding any water. keep aside.

In a large kadai heat 1 tbsp ghee and add ½ cup badam, ½ cup kaju, 2 tbsp kishmish and ¼ cup dry copru.

Roast on low flame for 5 minutes or till nuts turn crunchy. now add 1 tsp poppy seeds and roast for 2 minutes

Add in crushed dates and mix well.

Continue to fry on medium flame smashing dates with a spatula. this helps dates to separate out and mix well with other dry fruits.

Turn off the flame and allow to cool for a minute or 5.

Then immediately apply ghee on palms and start making laddus. do not cool completely, then you wont be able to make laddus. Garniah with khukhua if u like or silver vark (optional)
