Tired of flat taste on breads, added a twist to it - the love of cinnamon, its breath taking aroma and the sweetness of raisins!

Add milk, sugar, oil, and yeast in a bowl and let it sit for few mins for yeast to activate.

In a separate bowl add in flour, salt and the above mixture bit by bit.

Knead until it comes together and is nice and smooth.

Grease a bowl and place the dough, brush its top with little, cover and let it rise.

Meanwhile, line/grease your baking tin and set aside. Prepare the filing, in a small bowl add in the brown sugar with the cinnamon and mix well.

Punch in the dough and knead it a little just to pull it together. Roll it out and spread the softened butter well, spread the cinnamon brown sugar mixture evenly and spread enough raisins.

Starting from the end farthest from you roll up the dough tightly.

Tuck in the seams on the sides and the bottom. and place seam down on your prepared tin. Let it proof for a second time.

Whisk together egg and milk and use this to brush the bread on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350deg for about 40mins or till golden brown. Brush with little butter and let it cool on a rack.
