Ground Beef and Mashed Potatoes Quarter

In a medium saucepan, heat a little oil and saute the beef until brown. Add the onion, peppers and stir. Add the spices, beef stock and brown further.

Add the tomato and onion mix and tomato sauce, stir well simmer. Add the carrots and a little water and simmer until cooked.

In another saucepan, place the potatoes and enough water to cover them, simmer over high heat. Once cooked and soft, drain the remaining water.

Add the salt, margarine and milk and mash. Remove from heat.

To serve: Cut bread into four equal quarters and scoop out the inside. In each quarter, place a large serving spoon of mashed potatoes and spread at the bottom of bread.

Place a large serving spoon of the beef mixture on top of the potatoes, then garnish with a spoon of atchaar and cover with the bread that was scooped out.
