Too tired to prepare coconut milk or no coconuts to make the milk? No problem, we can still enjoy mahamri .....

In a bowl, add everything except milk.

Mix for a few minutes then add milk.

Knead until the dough is nice and soft.

Cut into 4 - 5 pieces and shape into balls.

Cover and let rise.

Roll each ball and cut into 4 quarters

In a karai or pan add the oil for frying and place on medium heat.

When the oil is hot, add the quarters and start frying one side and flip to the other side, remove from the heat when golden brown.

Enjoy with tea!
