Ingredients

  1. 200 g- 300g Chump Steak (amount optional in my case 6 pieces)
  2. Marinade for Steak :
  3. 4Tblsp Worchestershine Sauce
  4. 1/2 cupBBQ sauce (or more)
  5. 2Tblsp Tomato Sauce
  6. 2 TspLemon Juice
  7. 1 TspSalt
  8. 2 TspFreshly Ground Black Pepper
  9. 2 TspChilli Powder
  10. 1/2 TspRed Pepper Flakes
  11. 2 TspSticky Brown Sugar OR Honey
  12. ✓ Preferable to marinade Meat the night before
  13. Onion Rings :
  14. 2Large Onions (sliced extremely thin with Mandolin Slicer)
  15. 2 CupsButtermilk
  16. 2 CupsFlour
  17. 2 TspPortuguese Chicken Spice
  18. 1 TspSalt
  19. 1 1/2 TspGround Black Pepper
  20. 1 1/2 TspBrown Onion Powder
  21. Black Pepper Mushroom Sauce :
  22. 150 gPunnet White Mushrooms (sliced)
  23. 1 TspButter/Olive Oil
  24. 1small Onion (finely diced)
  25. 1/2 CupBeef Stock
  26. 2 TspCoarse-ground Black Pepper
  27. to TasteSalt
  28. 155 gTin Cream
  29. 1Tblsp Mazina / Corn Flour
  30. Potato Chips :
  31. Halfa frozen packet Chips
  32. Oil
  33. Fries :
  34. Fry in oil till done and sprinkle with salt and pepper
  35. 1 PacketCheddar Sliced Cheese

Steps

    Marinade your Steak the Night Before for ingredients to seep through. Switch on grill pan to about medium high heat. Add in lil Olive Oil and butter and grill till chard and cooked to liking. ✓Before removing steak off the grill top with sliced cheese for a better melt.

    Carefully slice your onions and soak them in the buttermilk for about 10 mins

    Combine your flour with all your Spices. And after onions have soaked,drain milk and dredge in flour batter.

    Deep fry till golden brown.

  5. 5

    Prepare you ingredients for the sauce. In a non-stick sauce pan on medium heat melt butter or add oil. Add onions and cook till translucent. Then add sliced mushrooms.

    Cook till soft and mushrooms shrink. Add in your stock and spices. Simmer for 5mins.

    Add in cream. Stir well

  8. 8

    After few mins when sauce starts to bubble up, add in Mazina/Corn Flour. Cook till sauce thickens.

    Deep fry your chips and dress with plain salt and pepper.

    To Serve : Place your Steak topped with sliced cheese. Spoon the sauce over for presentation wise and enjoy with your sides of fried chips and Crunchy Oinon Rings.
