For those who are lactose intolerant, you can still enjoy a biriani !!
Steps

Wash your chicken and marinate it with the blended pawpaw.

Caramelize your onions, and split them in two. Set a side
- 3
In another pot - heat up oil and the not so well sliced onions, if any, add garlic/ginger paste, then the biriani masala - Mix well.

Then add the blended/chopped tomatoes and the tomato paste, let it cook for 3- 5mins.

Then add your chicken with the marinade and let it cook. Stirring occassionally so it doesnt stick on the pot.

Once the oil has separated from the stew, it raises up. turn off the gas.

Wash your rice, bring water to boil, add salt and little oil - add the rice and steam.

Mix your food color with little oil - Once rice is ready, sprinkle the food color on top or in layers, add your caramelized onions (1 half) and raisins. (NB: This is not mandatory - you can skip the onions and the raisins)

Your biriani is ready! Enjoy with kachumbar or cooked chilli or Both!
