Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbsground lamb with fat (1 kg)
  • 7long eggplants, sliced into small rounds
  • Pinchsalt
  • Pinchblack pepper
  • Aleppo spice blend, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Season the ground lamb with spices and salt. Add a little extra salt since you won't be adding salt to the eggplant.

  2. 2

    Shape the seasoned lamb into small patties. Thread the patties and eggplant slices alternately onto skewers until all ingredients are used.

  3. 3

    Grill over charcoal until cooked through. Serve hot with appetizers and strained yogurt. Enjoy!
