Summer cooler. Sattu is roasted gram flour which has many health benefits.Sattu has long been used in the rural areas to cool down the body. High in nutrients. Made by the dry-roasting process that seals in all the nutrients, sattu is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, iron, manganese and magnesium. Great for digestion. It's high on insoluble fiber, which makes it good for your intestines, and is low on glycemic index, making it safe, and in fact beneficial for diabetics. Plus it has good proportions of iron, manganese, and magnesium, and is low on sodium too.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbspsattu
  • 1 glasswater
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1/2onion chopped
  • 1/2green chilli chopped
  • 1/2 tspblack salt
  • 1/4 tsprock salt
  • 1/2 tsproasted cumin powder
  • as neededMint leaves few

Steps

  1. 1

    First take a bowl. Add sattu powder & water in it. Mix well so that no lumps are formed.

    Now add chopped onion,chilli & lemon in it. Mix well

  3. 3

    Now add salt, cumin powder, crushed ice..

  4. 4

    Garnish with mint leaves & serve chilled
