Gulgule is the very popular sweet of Uttarakhand which is very simple to make and delicious.
Steps

Mix grated jaggery with hot water till dissolve

In a mixing bowl add maida and jaggery mixture.

Mix well with a fork. There should not be any lump in the mixture. The mixture should be pouring consistency.

Add sauf powder and keep covered for 20-30 minutes.

Heat sufficient oil or ghee in a kadai and fry the gulgule like pakoda in medium heat.

Serve hot or room temperature.
