Ingredients

  • 1 cupSivaiyan (vermicelli)
  • 1.5 ltrMilk
  • 1 tbspGhee / Butter
  • 1/2 cupCashew nuts chopped
  • 1/2 cupAlmond soaked and chopped
  • 1/2 cupPistachio soaked and chopped
  • 1/2 tspPistachios, almonds chopped for garnishing
  • 1.5 cupSugar
  • 2-3Cardamom green powder
  • 1/2 tspSaffron

Steps

  1. 1

    Put the pan on burner pour the milk and let it boil. Turn the flame on low and cook for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Now add the chopped cashew nut, almonds, pistachio, green cardamom, and saffron. Keep stirring. Cook for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Now add sugar in it and stirr.cook for 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Put a fry pan and the ghee in it. Now fry the vermicelli on low flame for 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Now add the fried vermicelli in the milk and mix well. Keep stirring and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

    Keep it there and let it cool. Now put the khurma in serving bowl and garnish with cashew nuts and pistachios.

  7. 7

    The delicious sheer khurma is ready to serve.
