To prepare Rabri

Boil milk with sugar. Add cardamom and mix well. Simmer and cook until milk reduce to 1/4th of quantity

Add saffron strands. Simmer for 3 minutes. Keep it aside

For sugar syrup: boil sugar and water. Cook until sugar reaches one string consistency

Trim edges of bread and cut into triangle. Shallow fry in ghee until golden brown

Soak bread in sugar syrup for 3 minutes

Pour Rabri in serving plate. Transfer soaked bread to plate. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve. Best served cold
