Ingredients

3 servings
  • 500grmMaize flour
  • Handfull Omena
  • 3banches Sukuma(kales)
  • 3 tspOil
  • 2big onions
  • 2tomatoes

Steps

    Make ugali.in boiling water pour the flour and 2 few mins,then stir slowly as you add flour to a good consistency. Cover with lead and lower the heat let it cook for 5mins,overturn the ugali in the sufuria and cover again wait untill it smell like it's burning (i was taught ugali must burn ndio imeiva)

    Omena.boil water,wash the omena twice with hot water,and rinse twice with cold water.put oil in the pan let it be hot,put the omena and let them dry off the wetness,cut one onion and oil fry untill brown put in the dry omena stir and add tomatoes. Add salt to taste.let it simmer for a while then switch off the gas.

    Sukuma.cut onions and fry with little oil untill brown,put in the sukuma wiki stir untill it's cooked take off the gas and serve.
