Ingredients

  1. 3/4 cupflour
  2. 2 tbspcornmeal
  3. 1/4 cupvanilla sugar
  4. 2 tspvanilla sugar
  5. 4 tbspcold butter cubed
  6. 2-4 Tbspice water
  7. 3/4 cupshelled pistachios
  8. 1/4 cupcream
  9. 1/2 tspalmond extract
  10. 5stone fruits, pitted, sliced, skins on
  11. 2 tbspbrown sugar
  12. 2 tsplemon juice
  13. 1 tbsprum
  14. 1/2 tspa 2:1:1 mixture of vanilla, orange and lemon extract
  15. 1/4 tspcinnamon
  16. 1/2 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix together the flour, cornmeal and 1/4 cup vanilla sugar

  2. 2

    Add in butter. Then add in ice water a little at a time until dough comes together

  3. 3

    Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 min

  4. 4

    In a mixing bowl stir fruit with brown sugar, lemon juice, rum, citrus extract,cinnamon and salt

  5. 5

    Preheat oven to 400°F

  6. 6

    Roll out the dough and put it in a greased springform pan. Pour fruit in

  7. 7

    Bake in lower 3rd of oven for 40 to 50 min until fruit begins to bubble
