Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 cupBengal gram/chana daal
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1Finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 tspGrated ginger
  • 2 tbspFinely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 tspFinely chopped green chilli
  • 1/4 tspGaram masala powder
  • 1Finely chopped tomato
  • 2 tbspOil

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Boil chana dal with salt and turmeric powder and three cup of water in a pressure cooker

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan

  3. 3

    Add onion ginger and tomato and saute for 2 - 3 mins.

  4. 4

    Add green chilli and coriander leaves and mix well.

  5. 5

    Add boiled chana dal and cook for five mins.

  6. 6

    Add garam masala powder and turn off the flame.
