Ingredients

  1. 1/2 packspaghetti
  2. 1big red onion, diced
  3. 3-4 clovesgarlic, diced
  4. 1 cubechicken stock
  5. 300 gfresh prawns peeled and cleaned
  6. 1/4 cupdiced yellow bell pepper (opt)
  7. 1 cupbutton mushroom, sliced
  8. to tasteCrushed black pepper
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1 pinchchili flakes
  11. 1/2 cupolive oil (you can also use vegetable oil, works better for this recipe)
  12. 1-2 tablespoonbutter (opt)
  13. 1 pinchdried basil and parsley
  14. 1/3 cupchopped fresh parsley

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook spaghetti in boiled water. (Follow as told in packet instructions). Add some salt and olive oil, toss and put aside.

  2. 2

    Season prawns with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Heat up oil over medium heat in frying pan. Add in shrimp. Cook and put it aside.

  4. 4

    Using the same oil, put in diced red onion. After 1 min, add in diced garlic. (If oil is not enough, add butter)

  5. 5

    When onion starts to sweat, add in diced bell pepper.

  6. 6

    Season the oil with salt and black pepper. Add in chicken stock cube.

  7. 7

    When the bell peppers softens, add in the mushrooms, dried parsley and bayleaf.

  8. 8

    When mushrooms are cooked, add in the spagethi noodles, chili flakes and chopped parsley.

  9. 9

    Add in the prawns and stir untill combine.

  10. 10

    Serve.
