Ingredients

4-5 servings
  • For the Potato Mix:-
  • 400 gmsPotatoes
  • 1 Tbspginger,garlic,green chilli crushed
  • 1 Tbspmustard seeds
  • 1/4 TspTurmeric Powder
  • 15-20Curry Leaves
  • 2 TbspCoriander Seeds
  • 1 TbspLemon Juice
  • PinchHing
  • Salt as per taste
  • For the Batter
  • 1.5 cupsBesan
  • Water as Required to make smooth batter
  • Salt as required

Steps

  1. 1

    For Potato Mix :-Heat oil in a pan add mustard seed,Curry leaves,Hing,Ginger Garlic Chilli paste and cook for about 30-40 seconds.Add Turmeric,Chopped Fresh Dhania,Mashed Boiled Potatoes,Lemon juice and salt as per taste.Mix this well,when it's cool down make small round balls of this batter.

    The Batter :- In a bowl take the Besan (Gram Flour),Salt,Water and make a batter using fingers or with the help of spatula.Make sure there should not be any of the Lumps.

    For The Frying :-Dip the Potato mix balls in the Batter and fry them in oil.Once it will turn in golden brown colour take them out of the oil and drain the excess oil with the help of paper towel.

  4. 4

    For Presentation:- Take one Fresh Pav.Toast it with some butter on a pan.Cut into half and place the Vada in it.Garnish it with any choice of your Chutney and Green Chilli.
