Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 CupLeftover Rice
  2. 5 tbspGram Flour
  3. 3 tbspCoarse Chapati Flour
  4. 2 tbspFinely Chopped Spinach
  5. 2 tbspFinely Grated Carrot
  6. 2 tbspGrated Bottle Gourd
  7. 2 tbspGrated Potatoes
  8. 2 tbspCrushed Peas
  9. 1 tbspFresh Coriander
  10. 1/2 tbspGinger Paste
  11. 1/2 tbspGreen Chilli Paste
  12. 1/2 tspTurmeric Powder
  13. 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  14. About 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  15. 2 PinchesCooking Soda
  16. Salt per taste
  17. Oil for frying
  18. 1/2 tbspSesame Seeds

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients except for the Oil for frying and make a dough for the Vada.

  2. 2

    Make a Vada shape with your hands and sprinkle sesame seeds on them

  3. 3

    Fry the Vada to be crispy or either grease an appe pan and bake the Vada in the appe Pan.

  4. 4

    Serve with chutney and sauce and now it's ready!
