Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 kgchicken fillet, cut into pieces
  • 1 tbsplemon juice *
  • 1/2 tspsalt *
  • 1/4 tspcrushed black pepper *
  • 1/2 tsphoney *
  • 1egg, beaten loose
  • 4 tbspmaizena (you can also use potato starch) **
  • 1/2 tspsalt **
  • 1 tspdried sage **
  • Oil for frying

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Marinate chicken with * for 10-15 minutes (you can also put the chicken all night in the fridge). Mix ** ingredients in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Pour oil into pan. Heat the pan (medium).

  3. 3

    Coat chicken in ** mixture, then coat using egg. Fry until golden.

  4. 4

    My kids like to eat these with tartar sauce, but you can use chili or tomato ketchup, salsa, sambal, according to your preference.
