Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1 cantuna in spring water (Nautilus or any brand, about 5 oz/140 grams)
  2. 1 handfulfresh holy basil leaves
  3. 6red chili peppers
  4. 6 clovesgarlic
  5. 1/2 tablespoonlight soy sauce
  6. 1 tablespoonoyster sauce
  7. 1 tablespoonfermented soybean paste
  8. 1/2 tablespoonsweet soy sauce
  9. 1/2 tablespoonvegetable oil
  10. 1/2 tablespoonbrown sugar

  1. 1

    Pound the chili peppers and garlic together in a mortar and pestle.

  2. 2

    Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over low heat. Add the chili-garlic mixture and sauté until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add a little water, then season with all the sauces and brown sugar.

  4. 4

    Add the tuna to the pan and stir-fry until well combined. Add the holy basil leaves and stir until just wilted.
