Dry Churmura (Puffed Rice Snack)

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, peanuts, and roasted chana dal. Fry until the peanuts are golden brown.

Add green chilies, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.

Add the puffed rice and a squeeze of lemon juice. Stir continuously until the puffed rice is crisp. Let it cool, then store in an airtight container.

When ready to serve, mix in chopped onions and sev, and serve with fried green chilies.
