Ingredients

4 Meat Lovers
  • 1full rabbit sliced into pieces(about 1kg)
  • 1 tspmixed dry herbs
  • 1 tspgrated fresh ginger
  • Pinchsalt
  • 1 tsppaprika
  • 2 tbspvinegar
  • 4 tbspnatural yoghurt
  • 1/4 Cvegetable oil for cooking
  • 3large tomatoes (chopped)
  • 1large onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 Cwater
  • 1 tspDark soy sauce(optional)
  • 1medium capsicum chopped
  • Handfulchopped corriander/dhania

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix yoghurt,ginger,herbs,salt,vinegar in a bowl

  2. 2

    Rub the mixture on your chopped rabbit making sure that all the pieces are well covered in a bowl

  3. 3

    Cover bowl with cling film and refrigerate overnight (8-12hrs)

  4. 4

    Pour oil into your cooking pan/sufuria /pot for about 30seconds

  5. 5

    Add your meat piece by piece and turn after 5 minuted or once the sides turn brown

  6. 6

    Once all the sides are browned, add your onions then followed by your tomatoes. Cover and let cook under medium heat for 5minutes

  7. 7

    Once the tomatoes are soft..pound them with a wooden cooking spoon and stir to mix with your meat

  8. 8

    Add 1/2C water and your soy sauce

  9. 9

    Cover and cook on low heat covered for 20-30minutes until the soup is fully reduced to a thick stew add your cupsicum and dhania and serve with Ugali or rice..oh and don't forget..SHARE WITH FRIENDS....tastes Better!!!
