Steps

Roast the moong daal and boil adding salt and turmeric powder

As the daal gets soft,wash rice and add into it

Now heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

Add ginger paste and saute well
- 5
Add the masalas and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
- 6
Pour this into the pot with boiling daal and rice
- 7
Mix well and add sugar
- 8
Serve it with fried vegetables
